Long day.

Back on track

Yeah, I'm back on track. The race track! Hah. But that explains why lunch was a burger. No better choices there.

Weight is 202.4 with 19.1% body fat. Yeah, didn't hurt myself bad on vacation! Did an hour of basketball as my workout today.

Flying day.

Last one of these or a while, thankfully.

Never really had supper, but two big meals is probably enough when the rest of the day is just sitting. No workout, no weight today. Back on both those tomorrow.

Another casino day

But I ate better than yesterday, at least.

  • side salad with romaine, boiled egg, cheese, some kind of vinaigrette (this casino could have the least interesting salad bar at the buffet you've ever seen)

  • Southwest turkey wrap (turkey, cheese, avocado, chipotle sauce, romaine, tomato)
  • potato salad (very small amount, though)
No weight again, but I did do an hour on the exercise bike, a few upper body exercises, and a big ab circuit. And the food here is so mediocre that I'm looking forward to going to the airport for lunch tomorrow. Yeah. It's like that.


Spent the entire day at the casino, so quality food wasn't much of an option.

No weight or body fat, but I did do exercise bike for an hour and a half and then a core exercise circuit, so I worked out for almost two full hours. Also did some karting tonight, which isn't exactly easy on the body.

Convention day.

Convention days are not good.

I was 202.2 and 19.8% body fat today. No weights coming for a few days, though, since I'm away from the scale. I did play basketball for an hour today. Three on three on a 94' full court is brutal.

Much sausage!

I like this day.  No salad and yet I had good vegetables.  The burrito was a frozen one from Whole Foods that's all healthy stuff.  Tasted pretty good, too.

Weighed 202.0 with 20.6% body fat this morning.  Workout was a cardio/strength circuit with my trainer that was pretty tough.  Also got a deep tissue massage, then got a good sweat going coaching the kids (trying to teach defense...ugh).

Well, today wasn't so hot.  I really wanted a treat, though, and made the Mt. Dew be the treat.  Okay, a couple burgers for lunch isn't so great, but it isn't horrible.  My fried intake is still WAY down, as is sugar.

201.4, 19.6% but that was after breakfast.  Didn't shower until then.  No workout today...but I did six straight days with one, so I'm due a day off.

Lots of food today!

Diversity.  But I'm eating real food for breakfast now at my trainer's urging.  Sure, I should be avoiding the biscuits, but supposedly everything else is fine.  Tomorrow I'm gonna have some turkey sausage!

  • one and a half country ham biscuits (they were small!)
  • two small cups of orange juice
  • bowl of homemade fruit salad (pineapple, oranges, apples, grapes, raisins, small marshmallows, miracle whip)

  • Muscle Provider shake (2 servings)

  • one Dewey's cake square (thanks Steve!).  It's really just a small piece of white sheet cake with icing on top.  Probably 2" square and an 1.5" tall.
  • probably the most diverse salad I've ever had...sugar snap peas, edamame beans, mixed greens, spinach, hard boiled egg, two kinds of sprouts, pecans, baby broccoli, celery, balsamic vinaigrette, shredded carrots

202.6 and 19.1% body fat, but that was late in the day after a hour and a half mountain bike ride, not my normal post-shower morning weight.  Forgot that today.

Dentist visit this morning, so I treated myself to a biscuit after.

Weighed 201.2 with 20.8% body fat this morning.  Workout today was an hour of pick-up basketball.  Played terrible!

Weighed 199.4 with 21.2% body fat.  I must not have drank enough water yesterday, because there's no other way I lost two pounds in a day.  And then with all THIS food I've had, no way I'm light tomorrow.  Don't know why, but I've just been starving all day today.

Oh the meat!

Big bang for an ending to today.

  • three crispy tacos and chips and cheese from Armadillo Grill
  • steak, pork, steak, more steak, some chicken, steak, and I did start off with a big healthy salad (I swear, there are witnesses!) from Leblon Steakhouse in Greensboro.
The steakhouse was amazing. They just keep coming and slicing off various types of meat for you, including filet mignon, their house sirloin, various different types of pork, chicken, and turkey, and you can even get lamb, beef ribs, or pork ribs. I'm probably forgetting one or two. And it's buffet-like in that you can keep going as long as you want, but it's much friendlier than that...they come to you with the meat. Amazing food, great service. Troy recommended this one, and he hit it out of the park. Probably not the healthiest I've ever eaten, but dang it was good.

Took a dive today.

  • Coke
  • mixed greens salad with grilled chicken and vegetables left over from the other night, shredded carrots, cheese, dash of bacon bits, and honey-dijon vinaigrette
Not much breakfast, lunch was horrible, supper was good. All in all, still a poor day for health. Especially since I'm sick and can't work out for a couple days. Ugh.

Oh yeah, I ate all that. Had to have the Coke today...was running on fumes this morning after snowmobiling so late last night and having to get up early again. Man, this cold takes it out of you. It was in the teens with 30+MPH wind gusts this morning and big snow. Flying tomorrow. Oh no.

I was a bit trapped for lunch and snack choices. Burned a lot of calories today, hence the need for all the granola bar snacks and the seemingly large amount of food otherwise.
